In the year 2000, Brandon Bichler and friends got together to see who could possibly make the best chili. From that moment onward the competition took hold in Munich and years later continues. The event brings together like-minded people who like food, beer, socializing, and winning.
Entrants to the competition cook their own personal version of chili, then bring it along to the event location where a (totally unbiased) panel of Judges taste, deliberate, and announce their choice for best Chili in Munich for that Year. The winner receives a VERY large trophy and bragging rights. We also run a cookie competition, and there is a vegetarian chili category! Proceeds from the entrance fees are all donated to the KlinikClowns e.V.
